The CURIAD offices are located in Pen-y-Groes, near Caernarfon in Gwynedd, Wales. Pen-y-Groes lies in the Nantlle Valley - a slate quarrying area of Snowdonia. This famous mountain range can be seen from our high street and the golden beaches of the Llyn peninsula are not far away. This historical area is the home for CURIAD and its activities. The name CURIAD is, in fact, the Welsh language term for 'beat' - that rhythmic pulse which is at the heart of all music.

There are many stages in the process of publishing and promoting new works. Having decided on the work to be published, our typesetting team then undertake to set the work using the latest software and equipment. We use the 'SIBELIUS' and 'SAGE' programmes to typeset music and we can honestly say that the quality of the notation it produces is second to none. Having completed the setting of the music, we then transfer the work to be published by local printers, using one, two or four colour process, depending on the nature of the publication. Our emphasis is always on quality - both in terms of content and design.
